IQVIA Senior PL SQL Developer in Bangalore, India
We are looking for a SQL developer who will be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance. You will also work other developers optimizing in-application SQL statements as necessary and establishing best practices. You will help solve all database usage issues and come up with ideas and advice that can help avoid such problems in the future.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain SQL databases for use in BI applications and dashboards
Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases, optimize in-application SQL statements
Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
Develop ETL pipelines.
Prepare documentations and specifications
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
1-2 years working with SQL Server
Exposure to data warehouse models and design
Knowledge and experience of data ingestion, ETL processes and tools
Fluent in T-SQL
Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
Capable of troubleshooting common database issues and performance tuning
The ability to concurrently work multiple competing projects the ad-hoc requests
Excellent communication skills, must have an advanced English level, oral and written
Good to have Python knowledge and exposure to ETL tools
