The Sr.Site Reliability Engineers is a technical leader who does exactly that! As a Sr.Site Reliability Engineer, you are a technical leader and will have many opportunities to assist in the growth of other Site Reliability engineers through one-on-one mentoring, one-to-many education scenarios and case collaboration. We’ll provide you with abundant resources, including a rich content library and advanced diagnostic tools. Qualifications

The ideal candidate may have a four-year degree in C.S. or Engineering and a minimum of 6+ years product support experience or software development. Candidates must be a critical thinker with strong customer service skills.

Required Technical Skills

  • Able to read and analyse C/C++/C# & SQL

  • Experience with post-mortem debugging using WinDbg or similar debugger tools

  • Working knowledge of Windows Architecture, Internals and System Center Products, SME in Device and Deployments, performance.

  • Source Code Review / Source Code Level Investigations

  • Bug Fixes & Design Change Requests

  • Thorough troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in debugging native and managed code

  • Experience with scripting language-based development (PowerShell, VB Script, JavaScript)

  • Experience in reading and analysing C/C++/C# & SQL, Source Code Review / Source Code Level Investigations

  • Bug Fixes & Design Change Requests

  • Experience with Unix/Linux

  • Familiarity with networking protocols and knowledge of troubleshooting network issues, infrastructure components, and cloud services.

  • Expert Knowledge in troubleshooting Aure VM Performance and reliability issues.

  • Knowledge on Hyper-V and IaaS is an added advantage.

  • Impeccable communication skills in both written and spoken English.

  • Effective learning skills.

Sr.Site Reliability Engineer investigate & solves critical, complex, technical issues through code review and debugs various issues on Windows using Debugging tools for Windows or Windows Sysinternals tools. Also performs reverse engineering, Sr.SRE’s may write code to reproduce or investigate issues, create new tools, or add instrumentation to existing components to isolate defects. The Sr.Site Reliability Engineer frequently collaborates with Site Reliability Engineer configuration experts & if a code defect is discovered, is responsible for driving the Product Group bug process. Often SRE’s issues are not only technically complex, but politically charged situations requiring the highest skill levels of conflict resolution & collaboration with the Product Group. Sr.Site Reliability Engineer strong suit is in employing problem isolation techniques, internals & code knowledge to solve unknown problems, and demonstrate the strong customer obsession.
