Description
Digital Orchestration Templates (DOT) is a pluggable federation technology that enables dynamic workflow orchestration (i.e. orchestrate a workflow with the right set of plugins according to the business use case at runtime). This next generation self-service architecture in Digital Commerce applications provides Digital Businesses the ability to autonomously configure and extend our systems to enable new use cases. It allows Digital Businesses to self-service launch new features/products, accelerate their time to market, and improve their customers’ experience through reduced latency.
Profiles was created to provide businesses with a digitally differentiated solution that gives them the ability to build business differentiated features, independently self-service by using simple architecture and standardized processes. DOT Profiles begins with the foundation of digital ordering services owned by DOX and will expand to other commerce services.
DOT is guided by the vision to deliver our internal and external (upstream digital businesses) customers a friction-free onboarding and development experience when using digital order services and subscriptions.
Key job responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will lead projects involving multiple teams in all aspects of the SDLC using an agile process. As the systems need to be built from the ground up, you will have an opportunity to make a long-lasting impact! To be successful in this position you will have a strong background in Algorithms, Data Structures, Java, and NoSQL. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both written and orally) and work well in a team are key competencies. You should be able to quickly adapt to new development environments, learn new systems, create reliable and maintainable code, and find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems. Experience working with high-traffic, scalable services is a plus.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
