Work Experience/Skills PREFERRED:
Solid and demonstrable comprehension of Information Security including malware, emerging threats, attacks, and vulnerability management and experience with reviewing system language log files, data correlation, and analysis
Experience as part of an incident response team
Strong knowledge on Incident response life cycle
Knowledge of Cyber Kill Chain and Diamond Model approach
Knowledge of threat actor techniques and infiltration methods
Creative problem solving during security incidents and alert investigations
Knowledge of threat hunting, threat intelligence usage in security environments
A broad and deep understanding of cyber-security threats, vulnerabilities, controls, and remediation strategies in global enterprise environments
Knowledge of technologies, systems, and networks as well as typical gaps that could impact the ability of an organization to effectively detect and respond to cyber attacks
Strong foundational knowledge in information technology, to include hardware, networking, architecture, protocols, files systems and operating systems.
An ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional image
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to handle multiple high visibility issues simultaneously
Proactive attitude, seeking for improvement opportunities which can positively impact the security posture and the business
Education REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree
Certification Preferred:
One or more of the following:
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
CISSP certification
GCIH, GSEC, GREM
Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP) membership
