Peninsula Powder Coating Painter & Sandblaster: Monday-Thursday; afternoon shift in Baraga, Michigan
Peninsula Powder Coating is hiring Painters and Sandblasters *to join their *afternoon shift team in **Baraga, Michigan.
In this role, you'll operate equipment to paint and prepare surfaces by removing dirt, rust, old paint, and grease using pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical tools. You'll also be responsible for maintaining and cleaning our paint booths and curing ovens.

WHAT WE OFFER.
- $14.00 -- $16.00 per hour starting pay based on your experience.

SCHEDULE. This is a full-time position, Monday to Thursday, from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM. Flexibility in scheduling may be required based on production demands.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- Experience: Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus, but we're happy to train motivated individuals with a great work ethic.
- Physical Abilities: You should be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds safely, as you'll be lifting and placing products for painting.
- Forklift Operation. Previous forklift operator experience helpful; we provide training if needed.
- Attention to Detail: We value precision, so being detail-oriented is essential.
- Safety First: You'll work with paint fumes and cleaning chemicals, so following safety protocols is a must. This includes using protective gear like safety glasses and respirators.
- Team Player: You should be organized, reliable, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Deadline Driven: You can handle time constraints and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
