Mayer Bros Press Room Operator in Barker, New York
Gasport. Mayer Brothers. Press Room Operator. FT. 1st & 2nd Shift available.
**Capable of moving a semi truck to dock door and moving yard vehicles on property
Perform the operations necessary to operate the juice room equipment and presses to sanitarily and efficiently press juice.
Daily use and understanding of chemicals
Coordinate with apple dumper to have equipment running properly and in sync with conveyors.
Perform all necessary operations to load all tankers with bulk loads juice, unload tankers if applicable. Tag & document tag numbers.
Ensure & document that all incoming tankers have documentation of correct cleaning before loading.
Fill out APPLE PRESSING REPORT with correct information, assist QC Lab Techs with info needed for DAILY JUICE MONITOR LOG.
Perform sampling for testing and blending / enzyme or preservative additions as directed to insure juice meets all specifications.
Perform all daily cleaning tasks and CIP's between press runs to insure sanitary conditions. Follow SSOP's in cleaning tasks.
Document cleaning tasks performed on CIP DATA FORM-JUICE ROOM, and DAILY & WEEKLY SANITATION TASK forms.
Perform breakdowns, cleanings, and repairs of juice room / pumphouse equipment when needed.
Connect and disconnect all pipes and hoses to correctly route juice to it's desired destinations and clean properly when finished.
