Your day at NTT DATA
The Paralegal is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for providing Legal support to deliver basic technical, operational or administrative services of a legal nature in one or more functional areas or legal disciplines.
This role requires a good working knowledge of related laws and best practices to provide support in de facto or ad hoc transactions.
Working under the supervision of a more senior member of the team, this role contributes to the development and/or improvement of Legal practices and operations within the company and completes Legal tasks which may more often be routine in nature.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:
Provides basic legal support to business and/or operations on engagements and transactions, under supervision of a more senior member of his/her legal team.
Reviews and provides general advice on simple standard agreements such as confidentiality agreements and intercompany agreements or simple legal issues.
May make minor customizations to legal terms and conditions in simple standard agreements.
May support a Legal Adviser or Legal Manager on legal engagements and transactions.
Administers programs and procedures to operationalize legal policies or help Senior Legal Advisers/Legal Manager to do so.
Prepares legal reports on the status of legal matters based on detailed instructions and templates.
Performs such legal or semi-legal work as may be assigned and supervised by senior member(s) of his/her legal team.
Knowledge and Attributes:
Possesses legal support qualifications and/or strong legal practice or operations experience.
Material Expertise and track record in performing a paralegal's duties.
Experience in administering one or more legal policies or programs.
Track record in effective and efficient management of legal programs working with other stakeholders within and outside the legal team.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain good stakeholder relationships.
Able to work in high-pressure situations.
Makes good judgment on daily work without detailed regular supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superb attention to detail; good organizational and multitasking skills.
Proactive approach to work and willingness to learn.
Excellent research abilities.
Good teamwork and collaboration abilities.
Advance Dutch language knowledge
Driver´s license and vehicle to be able to join the Barneveld office on hybrid model x3/week.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma or other relevant certifications or qualifications in legal studies.
Required Experience:
- Seasoned demonstrated experience in similar role gained within a similar environment.
