Position Summary
This position is responsible for carrying out work related to the manufacture of furniture in the workshops or the interior installation of aircraft cabins in compliance with budget, safety, quality, and on-time delivery objectives.
Main Responsibilities
Functional Lead of Technicians Level II as subject matter expert and mentor
Ability to accomplish all tasks to highest level within own discipline and give guidance to others
Able to lead a small team and perform lead duties on small project
Manufacture/modify or install interior aircraft cabin furniture/systems
Ensure compliance to standard Jet Basel procedures, practices and practices to achieve our JBSL quality standards requirements
Responsible for the quality of their products.
Ensures good communication with the aircraft or shop team lead and within the team.
Ensures the jobs are performed on the project in accordance with the relevant documentation and processes
Support PRIN in executing tasks in accordance with Projects needs and schedule adherence
Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to ensure effective and efficient project execution
Collaborate with the stakeholders on problems / modifications and product development & prototyping.

Responsible for the traceability of his/her products and tasks achievement
Responsible of the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area and holds others accountable
Follows environmental and safety regulations and upholds them to others
Perform tasks efficiently whilst always looking to optimize and define best practice.
Informs Leads on daily basis about the job progression and issue(s).
Role subject to internal privileges, such as sign off own tasks, deputy of Leads, etc
Operational expert and able to educate others in all matters related to department machinery and tools
Key player in giving technical feedback on product improvement and constraint solutions, and developing Mock ups, First Article Inspections and new working practices.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Meets requirements for Workshop Technician (Level II)
Very high level of technical knowledge and capability
Basic level of English minimum A1 (A2 preferred) / Must be able to read and understand Engineering data and maintenance tasks in English manuals. Other languages (French and / or German) desirable
Familiar with aviation authorities (FOCA, EASA, FAA,..) procedures and processes
Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)
Team player and self-motivated
Ability to work under tight deadlines
High flexibility to support project needs
