Position Summary

As an electrician at Jet Aviation, you work in a shop (Ceiling team) and play a crucial role in preparing and assembling electrical components for our VIP customer’s aircraft. You work with intricate cable looms and harnesses, ensuring they meet our rigorous production standards and specifications. Collaborate closely with our engineering team to resolve issues and perform modifications, contributing to the quality and excellence of our avionics.

Your mission

  • Prepare parts and component kits before manufacturing process in accordance with drawings BOM list.

  • Assemble cable looms, harnesses, install them with electrical components and ensure compliance with production standards and specification for: Ceiling Shell components and seat.

  • Perform continuity, isolation, and power checks before delivery to final assembly line.

  • Perform electrical cable looms, harnesses assembly operations in accordance with wire lists, wiring diagrams, drawings.

  • Perform integration assembly operations using basic 2D-3D design/engineering drawings, notes, instructions, and process specifications.

  • Perform dis-assembly operations on Electrical components installed on Ceiling shell and other subassemblies before finishing processes.

  • Perform modifications on produced harnesses in accordance with engineering requirements.

  • Maintain regular contact with the Engineering team to identify issues and provide resolutions.

  • Ensure that the rules are complied with and provide traceability for the Quality department.

  • In certain cases, carry out electrical installations in aircraft under supervision.

Your profile

  • You have completed an electrical apprenticeship with appropriate educational qualifications (or you have equivalent experience).

  • Having prior experience in the aviation industry is mandatory.

  • You read, understand, and draft basic manufacturing electrical General Arrangement plan drawings.

  • You understand instruction, component manufacturer instructions and ground test procedure.

  • You have knowledge in various electrical tests equipment.

  • You bringEnglish skills (A2 level at least), German and/or French is a plus.

  • You are at ease using computer systems in general (reading 3D plans on software will be part of your daily work).

  • Working in a fast-paced environment, a high degree of flexibility will be required (willing to work in Shift Pattern).
