Position Summary

At Jet Aviation Basel, our Electricians are crucial in powering luxury aviation to new heights. You’ll be at the heart of creating sophisticated electrical systems that ensure flawless functionality and premium quality for our customers. This is your chance to contribute to our state-of-the-art aircraft by bringing your skills, precision, and passion to a role where every detail matters, join us in setting new standards for luxury aviation.

Your mission

  • Building flawless electrical systems: Work on long-term projects to produce and install complete electrical systems connecting cabin monuments in aircraft. Based on 2D drawings and engineering plans, manufacture harnesses and perform wire routing either in a jig, workshop, or directly within the aircraft.

  • Mastering tools and techniques: Select appropriate tools, hardware, and materials for electrical terminations, and apply best practices to ensure proper routing and high-quality harness assembly.

  • Ensuring excellence by testing and troubleshooting : Conduct and troubleshoot continuity tests in team to guarantee optimal performance of the installed systems.

  • Driving quality with reporting and traceability: Identify and report issues encountered during installation, and maintain precise documentation of completed tasks to ensure full traceability of components and installation processes.

Your profile

  • Completed electrician apprenticeship, or any proven related experience.

  • At least 5 years background experience in industry such as aviation or automotive sector, would be an advantage.

  • Able to follow and comply with OEM (Airbus, Boeing, Gulfstream, Dassault), Service Bulletin and AMM tasks with relevant effectivity.

  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and diagrams.

  • Sound knowledge in various electrical tests equipment, and tooling.

  • Strong intrinsic motivation to gain new knowledge.

  • Always happy to support and collaborate with others.

  • Comprehensive English skills (minimum A2) – German or French is a plus.
