Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Manager, Clinical Sourcing in Basking Ridge, New Jersey

As a Sourcing Manager you are responsible to support and assist in our development of the Regulatory Affairs Health Economics & Outcomes Research and Category Management strategy by gathering requirements and business unit supply needs and specifications. We work with Category Leads and business partners to competitively assess the global supply base capabilities and qualifications. The Sourcing Manager owns the supplier relationship, participates in supplier selection, and manages ongoing performance and service delivery.

A typical day may include the following:

Developing and driving our global/local sourcing strategies for the respective area of spend responsibility and to optimize value.

Leading or collaborating solving sourcing needs when supply market analysis is needed.

Leading all aspects of sourcing events including Request for Proposals/Quotes/Information (RFP, RFQ, RFI, collectively RFx).

Developing and implementing global/local market sourcing initiatives to optimize value, quality, innovation, speed to market.

Identifying global/local supply market projects and applies sourcing tools to optimize benefits to Regeneron.

Negotiating the commercial terms of contractual agreements with suppliers/spend under management, which can include pricing, delivery, payment terms, and quality.

Partnering with the law department, quality, risk management, and supply chain to uniformly support the inclusion of relevant of contractual terms and conditions.

Support compliance with Regeneron contract policy and local country legal terms and conditions.

Leading Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives which may include conducting performance meetings, driving the development and use of scorecards and managing supplier relationships.

Developing and implementing strategies to drive supplier performance objectives and contracted outcomes are delivered, e.g.savings, SLAs, delivery, quality, etc.

Supporting and advocating using contracted suppliers with partners to meet business needs when appropriate.

Approving iSupplier requests for sourcing/category managed suppliers.

Supporting our continuous improvements effort of the source-to-contract process and initiatives.

Supporting inquiries to inform and educate regarding the sourcing and contract process and seek to identify system/process enhancements.

Supporting the use of contracted suppliers for the spend category under management.

Reviewing and approving PO’s in the Oracle workflow for category spend under management and within authorized approval limits. Adds completed iCertis numbers to PO as applicable before issuance to Supplier.

Ensuring contracts and quotes are accurately reflected on the PO before approving, attaches executive justification summaries, and negotiation/savings summaries if applicable.

To be considered it is required to have a Bachelor’s plus 7+ years of relevant, or a Master’s plus 5+ years of experience. 3+ years directly in sourcing within Pharma/Biotech is required. Clinical Sourcing experience would be preferred. Program management and project management experience required

Additional experience includes:

• Working knowledge with Sourcing Contracting, ERP, eRFX systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, iCertis, Other)

• Ability to apply standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

• Working level proficiency using negotiations skills

• Cost modeling knowledge

• Ability to formulate presentations

• Leadership, CPSM/CPM preferred

Salary Range (annually)

$110,900.00 - $181,100.00
