Position Summary

Job Description: Manager FP&A - Commercial and Medical Affairs (Oncology BU)

Systems: Planful, BPC, SAP (preferred)

Prioritization of Needs:

  1. Planning and Reporting

  2. Understanding of Periodic Close Process

  3. Strong Excel Skills

  4. Analyzing and Distilling Information/Data

  5. Understanding of Accruals and Prepaids

Responsibilities:

As a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for the Commercial and Medical Affairs businesses within the Oncology Business Unit (BU), you will report directly to the Associate Directors of each respective business. This role requires a proactive and independent worker who can pull together analysis and reporting to provide valuable insights to the BUs. You should excel at distilling complex information and telling a compelling story behind the data, as well as preparing impactful PowerPoint presentations based on available data.

Specific Tasks Include:

  1. Monthly Reporting

  2. Budgeting and Forecasting

  3. Three-Year Strategic Forecasting

  4. Three-Year Latest Estimates (LEs)

  5. Alliance Management

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)

  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A or related role

  3. Proficiency in Planful, BPC, SAP (preferred)

  4. Strong understanding of financial planning processes, including close processes, accruals, and prepaids

  5. Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and modeling

  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills

  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  9. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

Travel Requirements: As needed to meet service-level requirements and for required business meetings

Salary range $75-$85 (hr) W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
