What you'll be doing...As a member of the Global Solutions Sales Operations Team, this role will partner in supporting the Global Solutions organization, and will have ownership of the Security Practice portfolio. This means, ensuring successful operations for programs, revenue assurance, compensation, performance analysis & trending, forecasts, executive engagement, presentation development, etc. You will collaborate closely with your teammates to drive success across various initiatives, providing perspective and expertise related to security; with knowledge and competency across the Global Solutions portfolio, providing cross-support, and engagement as needed.
In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the Enterprise and Public Security Sales Specialist organization, which consists of specialists & sales professionals, as well as the Senior Leadership team. Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to commissions management, reporting, forecast tracking, data analysis, program and project management, and executive-level support.
Coordinate assignments, quotas, and commissions, including research and resolution of issues.
Manage and participate in the Sales forecast process.
Provide executive-level insights through data analysis, business reporting, and market opportunity identification.
Support business reviews by compiling relevant data and insights to form executive level presentations and supporting materials.
Partner with Commission Operations and Finance on sales to revenue recognition/assurance programs to identify and address revenue mapping issues, impacts, and resolutions.
Collaborate and partner closely with direct peers, providing coverage and support across the Global Solutions Sales Operations team.
Identify and lead opportunities to drive process improvements that promote greater efficiency and productivity, as well as improved customer & stakeholder experience.
Create effective data and information dashboards & repositories.
Where you'll be working...
This is a hybrid position, which currently requires being in person in a VBG hub location office at least 2 days per week.

You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree, or four or more years of work experience.
5+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience in sales, operations, sales operations, business development, or finance.
Proficiency in use of G Suite applications including Slides, Sheets, Forms, Docs, etc.
Salesforce (SFDC) platform experience
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Bachelor's in Finance or Business
A Master's degree
3+ years of experience in Enterprise Sales or Sales Operations.
Experience in Sales Compensation: Understanding/experience with compensation plans/planning, calculations, pay tables, etc.
Experience & knowledge of Verizon Systems including: SPA, Territory Manager, STM, Commissions Library, FRR, and VRD.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights in executive level format.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
Led cross-functional teams and aligned groups to a common goal.
Strong understanding of organizational objectives, functions and motivation.
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and execute effectively
Basic understanding of key financial concepts relevant to Verizon business performance.
Firm understanding of the Verizon Business portfolio and solution capabilities.
Creative thinker.
Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to work well with others.
Project management experience.
