Emerson RAS Service Engineer in Basra, Iraq
With high level process automation knowledge in Remote Automation Solutions RTUs and Flow Computers, this role will provide experienced technical service and support to customers and take part of projects execution, in order to grow the service business and support Emerson Process Management products.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Provides general service support and commissioning of RTU’s, SCADA and Flow Computers
Support PSS Engineers and integrate RTU’s with DeltaV offering a turnkey solution to customers
Local LBP support where required
Ensures timely execution of planned service activities
Provides support to other Emerson service branches as required
Provides technical advice to customers uses global support centres for difficult matters & follows up to make sure problems are resolved.
Ensure all work is carried out safely
Advise clients on the benefits of Emerson instrumentation for their operation.
Undertakes or raises technical investigations in response to customer or department's requirements
Win customer’s confidence through excellent service.
Provide telephonic support to all clients for the range of products
Update technical know how about product lines through own initiatives and company sponsored training
Complete appropriate documentation for all service-related tasks and submit in timely manner
Position might include “fly in fly out” commissioning activities
Other duties as needed

For this Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering field (including control engineering, computer science, Instrumentation, or electronics, etc.).
Previous service experience within process automation
Experience with field installations
Experience with RTU’s, SCADA and Flow Computers
Experience with Delta will be looked upon favorably
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Fault finding, diagnostic and analytical skills
Previous knowledge in ROC800 & Flo Boss RTU’s will be looked upon favorably
Previous knowledge in DCS specifically Delta will be looked upon favorably
Proficient English verbal and written communication skills.
