Description

We are offering a role in the manufacturing industry located in Xenia, Ohio, United States. The role functions primarily as an Administrative Assistant, focusing on managing various administrative tasks such as processing payroll, generating reports, and maintaining employee records. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify the accuracy of timesheets, coordinating with supervisors to ensure all timesheets are approved.

• Manage the process of payroll and generate reports for review and approval by the Controller.

• Handle the entry of historical corrections to timecards and issue retro pays when necessary.

• Maintain and update the attendance spreadsheet, researching attendance issues to ensure accuracy.

• Manage the pre-employment and onboarding process of new hires, including coordinating background checks and physicals, ensuring all onboarding paperwork is complete.

• Process invoices and assist the accounts payable department in maintaining financial records.

• Answer and transfer phone calls, ensuring efficient communication within the company.

• Greet and direct visitors and deliveries to maintain a welcoming and organized office environment.

• Assist in planning company events and place food orders as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the administrative needs of the company.

Skills:

• Proficiency in generating reports

• Experience in onboarding new employees

• Ability to perform receptionist duties

• Excellent at answering inquiries

• Experience in managing employee timesheets

• Proficiency in data entry

• Experience in planning special events.

Requirements • Proven experience in an administrative role within the manufacturing industry

• Proficient in report generation and data entry

• Experience in handling receptionist duties, including answering inquiries

• Knowledge of employee onboarding process and management of timesheets

• Ability to plan and coordinate special events

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in using various office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.
