Description
Robert Half has an opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk with our client in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The role is for an Accounts Payable Clerk who will play a key role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, receipts, and payments. This is a long-term contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure all invoices are coded correctly and processed in a timely manner
• Handle account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate records
• Regularly perform data entry tasks and maintain vendor files
• Process check runs and manage accounts payable
• Use Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets and maintain data
• Address and resolve any inquiries or issues related to accounts payable
• Ensure all financial data is accurate for customer credit applications
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed
• Oversee the process of invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information
Requirements
• Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) role within Health Pharm/Biotech industry
• Proficient in account reconciliation
• Knowledgeable in performing check runs
• Experienced in coding invoices
• Proficient in data entry
• Demonstrated ability in invoice processing
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
• Ability to maintain vendor files efficiently and accurately
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Possess strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
