Description
Robert Half has partnered with a company in search of a meticulous Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This position is in the professional services industry and offers a contract employment opportunity. The role involves handling customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and ensuring timely collection of payments. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
• Resolve customer inquiries related to credit applications and payments
• Monitor and manage customer credit accounts diligently
• Take appropriate measures to collect delinquent payments from customers
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel for data management
• Perform accounting functions and manage accounts receivable
• Conduct billing functions and check processing as required
• Regularly post payments and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
• Manage cash activity effectively and efficiently
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites
• Firm understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Knowledge in Billing Functions
• Ability to handle Cash Activity
• Experience in Check Processing
• Capability to Post Payments
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to continually update skills as technology changes
