Description
Protiviti is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Loan Analyst to join our team. As a Commercial Loan Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of commercial loan documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This position is a full-time, contract, work-from-home opportunity
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze commercial loan documentation, and other related legal and financial documents.
Ensure all loan documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and legal counsel to resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the review process.
Perform due diligence on collateral documentation, such as title searches, insurance verification, and lien perfection.
Maintain organized and up-to-date loan files, including document imaging and proper filing procedures.
Monitor and track loan document exceptions and follow up with the necessary parties to ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate with external parties, such as title companies and attorneys, to facilitate the timely preparation and execution of loan documentation.
Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry best practices related to commercial loan documentation and make recommendations for process improvements.
Provide support and assistance to other departments, such as loan servicing and credit administration, as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required.
Experience using the commercial loan system, ACBS is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial loan documentation within the banking or financial services industry.
In-depth knowledge of commercial lending practices, loan documentation requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Proficient in using loan documentation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
