Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System Leave Admin Rep (Work from Home) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

The Leave Administration Representative provides general support in all areas of the FMOLHS leave administration program including but not limited to management of leave documents/forms, phone coverage, return to work, leave updates, and requests for personnel information from outside agencies. This position relies on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

  • Assists employees and managers through the leave of absence process by accurately explaining the leave policies and procedures.

  • Responds in a timely manner to phone, email and in-person inquiries from employees, HR representatives and managers

  • Provides timely and accurate communication and documentation to employees at the leaves commencement and throughout the duration of the leave.

  • Creates/updates leave of absence records in HRIS system and maintains confidential scanned image files with LOA-specific documents

  • Meets departmental productiving standards

  • Coordinates with all applicable parties as assigned to provide support with administration of FMLA, state mandated leaves, and company specific leaves

  • Conducts follow up with management and employees within acceptible time frame with respect to available leave, leave status, document status, and return to work status.

  • Escalates appropriate leave cases and issues to the Leave Specialist and/or Manager.

Education High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience 3 years corporate administrative support experience

Skills Excellent personal computer skills , interpersonal & human relations skills and oral & written communication skills; good time management/prioritization skills
