As the Manager, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Sales/Facilities you will be accountable for providing oversight and execution of key EHS processes including field visits, compliance, culture, incident management, communication and recognition.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams in North America. This position does not require relocation to Battle Creek but will be expected to travel there for any required in person meetings. Relocation support available.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Field Visits – Work with key partners to identify, review and address incidents.

  • Compliance – Investigate incidents to identify trends, review safety metrics, ensure proper onboarding of employees, and conduct/participate in audits.

  • Culture – Ensure safety meetings have meaningful content and activities.

  • EHS Incident Metrics – Validate and close out incident investigations, enter metrics on trend tracker, and compare/contrast reports to ensure consistency.

  • Communication – Share best practices, notify leaders of incidents, partner with 3rd parties as needed.

  • Recognition – Celebrate improvements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety/Environment or related degree and equivalent experience

  • Experience of 3-5 years in EHS functional capacity

  • Must be highly organized and proficient in communicating with peers, company experts

  • Willingness to travel up to 60%
