Envision Education School Psychologist Part Time in Bay Area, California

THE POSITION

Envision Education seeks Part Time School Psychologists for our Bay Area Middle and High Schools.

This opportunity includes:

  • $15,000 signing bonus, (pro-rated for part time work)

  • annual $5,000 School Psychologist supplement, (pro-rated for part time work)

  • annual $3,500 MA supplement, (pro-rated for part time work)

  • annual $2,000 Doctorate supplement, (pro-rated for part time work)

  • and for SF employees a $5,000 CAL supplement, (pro-rated for part time work)

    LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

  • Flexible site locations at our schools in Hayward, Oakland, and San Francisco

  • Flexible days and hours to meet your needs and student assessment needs

  • Flexible Part Time Options and the ability to build your schedule in collaboration with the School Site and Special Education team

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The primary function of this role is to conduct assessments and reports including:

  • pre-meetings

  • observations

  • testing and assessment

  • report writing

  • and IEP meeting presentation of report

  • In addition to assessments and reports, the School Psychologist may be asked to:

  • Conduct individual and group evaluations

  • Provide support in performing FBA's and developing BIP's

  • Provide in-service training in learning, child development and child management to parents, teachers, administrators and staff

  • Provide consultation and advisement to administrators, teachers, and parents regarding the general and special educational programs

  • Communicate with and seek consultation with community agencies

  • Coordinate services with mental health counselors and supervise interns

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required: Master's Degree or higher in related field

  • Required: PPS credential in School Psychology (or ability to transfer out-of-state credential)

  • Preferred: 3+ years of successful school psychology and special education experience

  • Experience working successfully with parents and families, especially African American, Latine/a/o/x, and immigrant families

  • Spanish fluency preferred

  • Receptiveness to feedback and desire to continuously improve to meet outcomes.

  • Once hired, continuous current California residency.

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

    2024-2025: The salary range for this role is $76,704-$131,092, is dependent upon years of aligned experience and credentials, and will be pro-rated based on Part Time Schedule %FTE (days/hours worked).

    2024-2025: This opportunity includes the following, all of which will be pro-rated based on the Part Time Schedule %FTE:  $15,000 signing bonus, an annual $5,000 School Psychologist supplement, an annual $3,500 MA supplement, an annual $2,000 Doctorate supplement, and for SF employees a $5,000 CAL supplement.

    If you are offered this position, your pay rate will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, Envision Education complies with applicable pay equity laws and considers internal equity among current employees when developing the final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the base range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.  We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.
