POSITION: Literacy Vocational Advisor - Day/Evening (PT)SITE/BUILDING: Bay Shore Adult Education Center, Bay Shore Bixhorn Technical Center, Bellport Ward Technical Center, Riverhead QUALIFICATIONS: NYS School Counselor 7 -12 Certification Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Adult Education students in developing an academic and career plan BEST Plus/TABE testing of all students Complete all required Literacy paperwork START DATE: As soon as possibleSALARY: $45.16/hourStudies show that women and members of some groups are more likely to underestimate their qualifications for a position.
