Description Hours for Position: 3:30PM - 12:00AM 90% remote 10% travel (Will need to travel for quarterly meetings and potential upgrade/education type events) Position Summary The Analyst will serve as a bridge between the clinical owners of the UHCare EMR application and the vendor, participating in ongoing support, software design, implementation, and testing. This position will be responsible for providing workflow design and process support for end users of the UHCare electronic medial record and associated clinical applications. Essential Functions Coaches clinical end-users on the system functionality and how to integrate the EMR to facilitate their daily workflow. Maintains a deep understand of EMR and related clinical systems capabilities, and a detailed understanding of the EMR functionality, and is able to independently apply that knowledge to properly respond to work flow situations. Exercises independent judgment when proactively or reactively addressing physician and clinical end-user adoption issues. Function as an active participant on the EMR implementation team; attend training to learn the functionality of the core Eclipsys modules Coordinates data collection from clinical subject matter experts, to facilitate an enterprise design which will represent an improved clinical workflow and eliminates current state paper-based processes, as applicable. Designs clinical workflows, in conjunction with the clinicians; workflows will focus on improved efficiencies, as well as incorporating quality initiatives and benefits as defined in the EHR benefits. Assists in system configuration activities as required Participate in unit and integrated testing of the software to ensure that the design objectives are being met Development of end user training materials, and participates in end user activation support Develops policies and procedures related to the use of the EMR software, in conjunction with clinician team members Assist in the development and mentoring of the Process Specialist staff Performs routine on-call rotation which includes 24O7 phone coverage Required For All Jobs Performs other duties as assigned.
