Cleveland Clinic IT Cost Optimization Program Manager IV in Beachwood, Ohio

As an Information Technology Cost Optimization Program Manager, you will manage the implementation and maintenance of designated programs. This role also plans, develops, and maintains systems and procedures, acts as a liaison between the department and outside communities, serves as a coach and mentor for other caregivers, and participates in budgetary processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, manages and maintains operational systems and activities.

  • Serves as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community.

  • Manages multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.

  • Allocates time to meet completion requirements.

  • Serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

  • Reviews and monitors adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of IT expenses, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.

  • Evaluate major IT technologies and spending patterns to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

  • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies, process improvements, and best practices within the IT division.

  • Collaborate with IT teams, finance, and other stakeholders to align cost-saving initiatives with organizational goals.

  • *Ensure IT expenses are in compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Initiate and lead cost reduction projects, leveraging data-driven insights to achieve savings targets.

  • Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of cost-saving measures, making adjustments as needed.

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to make informed decisions regarding IT expenditures.

  • Drive a culture of cost consciousness and efficiency throughout the IT division, promoting cost-saving ideas and practices.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.

  • Master's degree preferred.

Certifications:

  • May be required for specific positions as per policy or regulation.

Complexity of Work:

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.

  • Demonstrated team, leadership, organizational, financial management and problem solving skills.

  • Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development.

  • Strong presentation, communication and training skills required for most positions.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of six years of related experience; healthcare setting preferred.

  • Offset: Master's degree and five years of experience.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $40.48

Maximum hourly: $61.74
