What we need from you:
Associates or Bachelor's in area of specialization Years of Experience: 10+ years of maintenance
Knowledge, Skills, abilities: Specilized maintenance training such as Electrical journeyman, PLC specilaized training or degree
Ability to troubleshoot complex maintenance issues within area of specialization.
Advanced Electrical and Maintenance knowledge required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to complete work orders, carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form and complete required paperwork
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume
Mechanical knowledge and ability to expand knowledge and skills via on-the-job and formal training directed at increasing job-related skills as mandated by management
Basic computer skills
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to comply with all general safety policies and procedures in accordance with Company, Local, State, and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the highest technical and specialty maintenance tasks in the plant or DC. Typically is seen as an expert in the field of refrigeration, electrical, or electronics programming.
Conducts specialized maintenance tasks in the plant solving complex problems and using specialized expertise to bring solutions.
Performs duties consistent with electrical journeyman activities
Coaches junior staff on complex maintenance issues within areas of expertise
