Job Title: Biomechanics Computational ModelerJob Description
Actalent is seeking a Biomechanics Computational Modeler to support the Biodynamics Group. This role involves assessing the human response and injury tolerance of pilots and aircrew to impacts, ejections, and high-G events. Key responsibilities include using dynamic modeling programs for the analysis of injury, determining injury thresholds, analyzing and modeling kinematic data, engaging in physical injury biomechanics research, interacting with human subjects and instrumented crash test dummies, engaging in PMHS research, using statistical software for data post-processing, and performing Finite Element Modeling related to occupant safety. The role also involves analysis utilizing high fidelity Finite Element human body models and applying biomechanical sensors and data processing.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Beavercreek Township, Ohio.
Work Environment
100% onsite at the AFRL on base at Wright Patterson AFB with a potential opportunity to work hybrid two days a week after training. Work hours typically range from 7-9am arrival to 3-5pm departure with little to no overtime. The successful candidate will work closely with the branch manager and a government customer.
