Working at our Beavercreek Site :
GE Aerospace operations have been part of the Beavercreek community for over 70 years! Our Beavercreek facility manufactures gas turbine tubes, ducts, and manifolds, and also has complex machining, fabrication and investment casting capabilities. Product engineering, new product development and testing is performed on site. This facility also does repair and overhaul of tubes, ducts, and manifolds. We have been awarded OSHAS’s highest safety rating.
Role Overview:
Responsibility for the quality of MRO product lines driving product, process and quality improvements. Overseeing and providing technical guidance to internal customers, team members, and stakeholders. Direct quality support to dedicated product lines with the objective to improve FTY and reduce losses. Interface with the customer where required and support all quality and continuous improvement activity. The Quality Technician will ensure that projects and products are capable and will meet specified standards.
Owner of Quality requirements for assigned processes and product initiatives supporting all applicable functional teams
Ownership of root cause identification corrective actions mitigating risk opportunities
Workstation audits and CVP audits
Identification of opportunities for improvement projects
Support customer communication on appointed product line
Reporting of issues to leadership on a given basis
Definition of quality control and inspection plans
Provide training on production quality and inspection procedures
Make data-based decisions to drive improvements
Perform RCCA using established problem-solving tools
Participate in the DFWP (Drug Free Workplace Program)
The Ideal Candidate:
Provide MRO organizational support by coordinating and supporting training, document control, compliance, and process improvements aligned with safety, quality, delivery, and cost initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
5 + years manufacturing experience
Working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to document, plan and execute projects
Humble, respectful, receptive, agile, and eager to learn

Leadership traits, strong communication, decision maker
Problem solver, analytical minded, challenges existing processes
MRO experience working in a certificated FAR 145 repair station
Proven technical ability and knowledge in order to interpret Engine Manual Requirements
Additional Information:
- Wages $26.43 + per hour based on experience
