As Production Manager you will support all aspects of our Molding, Assembly and Packaging in the Focus Factory for our Beaverton, MI team with Saint-Gobain Life Sciences. You will be responsible for the safe and cost effective manufacture/assembly of products along with all functions critical to the Molding & Assembly business, including Production, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain. Key Accountabilities: Time on the Production Floor: Know people, know processes/equipment. Identify opportunities in safety, quality, and productivity. Develop action plans for training and people development for individuals and a multi-skilled workforce. Administrative: Lead and coach direct and indirect reports. Oversee ECOs, data review/prep for safety, quality, and productivity; Leadership support to peers and Plant Manager as needed; Budgeting process and managing to the required activity levels; Direct continuous improvement projects in production, engineering, quality, and supply chain. Drive Cap Ex Projects. Manage areas to reach financial goals REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, or Operations Management, required 5+ years' experience in supervision of production employees in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of inventory control practices, production scheduling and engineering, required Experience in an ISO environment and with World Class Manufacturing/Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma programs, required Proficient in use of computers and spreadsheet software with experience with business systems (QAD, Kronos, Microsoft Office), and other computer hardware and software, required Additional Requirements
