LogixHealth Senior Operations Manager, Coding Quality in Bedford, Massachusetts

  Location: Bedford, MA; Remote in AL, GA, MI, MO, NC, OH, OK, TN, TX, WI, and WV

This Role:

As the Senior Operations Manager in the Coding Quality department, you will manage and monitor projects and operations to support interdepartmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working through coding and denial trends found by the partner teams and internal teams

  • Research projects for escalated coding/billing related concerns and communicate policies, concerns, etc. between departments and coding teams

  • Review and monitor team performance and ensure workflows are being followed

  • Monitor team dashboards/reports; plan, organize, and direct completion on specific projects

  • Look into coding related issues and research further for updates on procedures and policies

  • Research into payer rules and regulations for provider related guidelines

  • Help support different teams including coding, billing, and revenue integrity in all areas including client audits and concerns, coder audits, billing trends, etc.

  • Proactively monitor company policies and address transgressions appropriately

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with all pertinent local, state, and federal laws and regulations relating to operations and employment

    Required:

  • Prior medical coding or billing experience; coding certification

  • Proficiency with MS 365 including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to learn new and existing software

    Preferred:

  • One or more years related management experience

  • Ability to understand the capabilities and limitations of integrations within the entire infrastructure of the company

  • Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives and propose solutions
