The Associate Director, Sales Operations (Incentive Compensation) is a highly visible role at ITCI. The individual in this role will utilize their analytical expertise and communications skills to provide guidance to departmental decision-makers on topics specifically related to Incentive Compensation, and other areas as needed. This individual will be responsible for daily oversight of the Sales Teams Incentive Compensation plans: NSS, NSSO, NSR, ISS, SAM, and others along with Contests and Year End Awards. This role will be the main point of contact for Internal and External partners and be responsible for reporting results back to leadership. Additionally, this role will be exposed to and participate in many of the other Sales Operation functions supporting a pharmaceutical Sales Force including but not limited to reporting, analysis, systems, and productivity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic discussions around Incentive Compensation Plan design and Contest Design with cross-functional senior leadership

  • Working with external Incentive Partner, create and process accurate Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual IC Results for all sales teams

  • Ensure all eligibility being applied for IC payouts is accurate

  • Partner with team members to share IC data on regular and timely basis for field communication purposes

  • Be the main point of contact for field leadership when there are questions regarding Incentive Compensation

  • Monitor IC dashboards for accuracy whenever data is published.

  • Occasional travel is required to Sales Meetings and to vendor headquarters

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum of 8-10+ years of work experience in the life science industry in sales operations.

  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience in all aspects of Incentive Compensation, including strategic design, goal development, and administration

  • Strong leadership skills as well as strategic and organizational effectiveness experience. Knowledge, credibility, and organizational savviness to influence senior management.

  • Deep knowledge of US pharmaceutical legal, regulatory, and promotional compliance requirements.

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)

  • Experience in building and managing teams working on multiple projects in parallel.

  • Development and delivery of concise and well supported briefings.

  • Problem solver with strong strategic and analytical abilities, diplomacy, negotiation, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with both internal and external partners.

  • Ability to work in and adapt to change in a fast paced, hands-on role, within a dynamic company environment.

  • Ability to form strong relationships with Sales, Marketing, HR, IT, Compliance, and external partners.

  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables, projects, and duties as assigned.

  • Experience working in a matrix environment, with the ability to manage multiple customer needs

  • Demonstration of a high level of character and ethics to support company values.
