The Lead, Distribution & Supply Chain Quality, Greater China will have full accountability for Quality activities for a cluster of markets that includes arguably the two most exciting markets for Shire today in its International region. This role will serve as a member of the country leadership teams for China and Taiwan / Hong Kong.
Management of Quality operations for Shire in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau to ensure compliance with local regulatory and corporate global requirements for importation, local testing, repackaging, storage and distribution of Shire products.
Perform Quality Management Representative role for Shire in responsible countries to develop, implement and maintain a systematic, effective and efficient local Quality Management System (QMS) as per local regulatory authority and Shire’s global requirements.
Management of chemical reagents and reference standard to ensure its continuous supply for local product testing.
Perform/support quality activities and resolve quality issues for Shire in responsible countries to support the continuous supply of Shire products in these countries in compliance to local regulatory authority and Shire’s global requirements.
Ensure all relevant quality support are provided for all relevant post market activities for Shire in responsible countries are executed timely as per local regulatory authority and Shire’s global requirements so as to minimize any product supply interruption.
Manage relationship, relevant communication and inspection with local regulatory authority on Controlled Substances matters for Shire in responsible countries.
Ensure all quality support to local business projects and product launches in responsible countries are provided timely.
Supervision and development of local Quality resources for Shire in responsible countries.
Provide support to other APAC countries’ quality operations if needed.
