Sony Pictures Entertainment Marketing Intern - SPRI China in Beijing, China

Internship Period and Attendance Requirement:

To be considered for this role you will be available and committed to at least a 6-month internship, with 3-4 working days per week physically on-site and 5 days full-time internship would be highly preferrable.

Background:

Based in SPE Beijing office, the Marketing Intern will report to an assigned manager of marketing team, SPRI China and support the cross-functional marketing team on various marketing activities for the promotion of market upcoming theatrical Sony Pictures films in China market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assistant in developing and executing promotional marketing campaigns with major global and Chinese brands to market upcoming theatrical films.

  • A ssist with status documents reporting secured and potential partner deals.

  • Track and capture local co-promotional activities and create the wrap reports.

  • Assist in marketing research and market data compilation.

  • Support marketing team with collecting digital promotion/marketing materials/ assets and facilitate ongoing management of marketing materials for efficient use.

  • Manage the preparation of various materials for meetings with marketing agencies for execution and follow-up.

  • Participate in the internal marketing strategies brainstorm for upcoming titles and provide thoughtful insights from a millennium standpoint.

  • Assist the team members with Ad hoc marketing tasks whenever needed.

    Qualifications/Education:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including WORD, PPT and EXCEL, Keynote and relevant Software etc.

  • Excellent language proficiency and communication skills written and verbal, native in Chinese and fluent in English.

  • Strong writing skills would be highly preferred and a plus, as evidenced by published articles and work.

  • Students who study in majors of film and television, script writing, marketing and communication would be preferred.
