Danaher Corporation Senior Engineering Manager in Beijing, China
Managing system engineering team to serve business including Energy+, F&B, Aero. The manager, will standardize the technical working procedures and improve the design quality and efficiency, develop and coordinate the engineering resource/activities, build up engineering excellence to meet company growth objectives (new product development, project management, customer order fulfillment, manufacturing technical support).
Own the daily execution of system engineering by developing capabilities, managing projects, committing to objectives, driving decision-making and addressing challenges.
Develop disciplines to facilitate engineering excellence and continuous improvement, including gate reviews, design reviews, design documents and effective communication and work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of system projects, including requirement analysis, quotation, design, implementation. Develop project plans, allocate resources, track progress, and ensure timely high quality, and within-budget delivery.
Work with sales and finance team to collect money timely according to project contract. Meanwhile, proactively identify and manage project risks, develop mitigation plan and resolve issues with timely manner.
Responsible for product development of system products, including mechanical design, electrical design, material selection. Oversee and guide the engineering team to comply with disciplined gate review process, conduct V&V testing according to regulatory requirements (design codes and standards), optimize designs to ensure reliability, efficiency, high quality.
Maintain in-depth understanding of industry trends, cutting edge technology and marketplace changes to ensure that we proactively drive localization and innovation to maintain a leading position with regards to intense competition.
Conduct performance evaluations regularly, provide feedback and development suggestions and motivate team members to achieve goals.
Under Leadership of EHS department, during process of design and product development, control materials and processes to meet requirements of EHS. Analysis and recognize risk factors and raise countermeasures.
