Job Description
An employer is seeking an accountant to support their internal corporate financial team at their headquarters in Belcamp, MD. Below is a brief summary of day to day responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the general financial accounting and reporting activities of the organization.
* Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including:
o Prepare and record journal entries
o Prepare monthly account reconciliations
o Analyze and adjust journal entries when necessary
* Assist with financial statement audit process
* Assist with preparation of financial statements and footnotes
* Assist with financial, planning and analysis schedules
* Collaborate with manager and controller to ensure a complete and accurate month-end close
* Maintain accurate process and procedures for all reports and tasks
* Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's in Accounting or related field.
3+ years of accounting experience
Competency in utilizing Deltek Cost Point accounting software CPA Certified null
