Team/Role Overview

You will be responsible for working in the Chief Information Office, for one of the firms Reference Data Management applications - Security Master Central. You will work primarily with securities reference data across a wide range of Financial Products alongside major Programs and Projects where you will gain exposure to the full reference data management portfolio.

In this role, you will work as a Project Manager, working alongside our application's Business Analyst team. You will take charge of multiple Projects and liaise with Operations & Technology teams. You will make key decisions across a range of regulatory, technology mandatory, business mandatory and discretionary engagements and keep track of your projects, ensuring key stakeholders are updated throughout and maintaining accurate governance, documentation and reporting.

What you’ll do

  • Develops detailed IT work plans, schedules; project estimates, resource plans and status reports.

  • Recommends and oversees process improvements.

  • Has considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.

  • Provides expertise and liaises with senior leadership to provide an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project management.

  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how their own position fits into the wider business structure whilst collectively integrating to contribute towards achieving business objectives.

  • Be a role model and trainer to new team members

  • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

What we’ll need from you

  • Relevant experience in a related technology role

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.

  • Capital Markets Experience advantageous

  • Subject matter expert in IT Project management field

  • Strong Decision Making Ability

  • Root Cause Analysis

  • Strong Problem Solving Skills
