Key Responsibilities:
Retail Industry Trends Analysis:
Monitor and analyze macro and micro trends in the retail industry, including emerging technologies, consumer behavior, and market shifts.
Identify key opportunities and threats within the retail landscape and provide insights on how NCR Voyix can leverage these trends.
Competitor Analysis:
Conduct in-depth analysis of key competitors in the retail sector, including their product offerings, market positioning, pricing strategies, and customer engagement tactics.
Develop competitor profiles and maintain an up-to-date competitor intelligence database.
Customer Analysis:
Analyze customer behavior, preferences, and feedback to identify trends and insights that can inform product development, marketing strategies, and customer engagement initiatives.
Segment customers based on various criteria (e.g., demographics, purchasing behavior) to provide targeted insights to internal teams.
Bi-Weekly Retail Reports and Communications:
Produce and distribute bi-weekly reports summarizing key findings on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
Ensure that reports are clear, concise, and actionable, providing strategic recommendations that align with NCR Voyix’s business objectives.
Responding to Custom Retail Research Queries:
Act as a resource for internal stakeholders by responding to custom research queries related to the retail industry.
Provide tailored insights and data-driven recommendations to support decision-making across various departments, including marketing, sales, product development, and customer support.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in market research, competitive analysis, or a related analytical role, preferably within the retail industry.
Proven track record of producing high-quality research reports and delivering actionable insights.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify key insights.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and market research platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
