What you’ll do

As a member of Global Services, you will be a part of a creative team responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification to developing, testing, and launching. Your focus will be to test Android/iOS apps and web extensions, document defects, and collaborate with teams to ensure top-notch software quality and usability. Also, as Devtech is focused on learning and development, you will be expected to participate in company-wide knowledge-sharing efforts and promote security & quality culture across the company.

  • Test Android/iOS apps and web extensions manually to extension to identify software defects and ensure their functionality meets product requirements 

  • Create and execute test plans and test cases based on product specifications and user stories 

  • Perform regression testing to validate bug fixes and software enhancements 

  • Document and track software defects using tools as Jira, and work closely with the development team to resolve them 

  • Share feedback with the development team about software quality and usability issues 

  • Work with different teams to align on testing priorities and deliverables 

  • Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging mobile and web testing trends

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years in manual software testing, preferably in testing Android/iOS applications and web extensions 

  • Good understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices 

  • Strong experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts is a must 

  • Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira.  

  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks is desirable  

  • Knowledge of mobile and web development technologies (e.g., Android SDK, iOS SDK, HTML/CSS, JavaScript) is a must 

  • Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail is a must 

  • Experience with usability testing and accessibility testing is a must 

  • Experience working with agile methodologies  

  • Proven problem-solving skills and keen eye for details 

  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment 

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
