Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites and possess strong mechanical knowledge. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment, contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Duties
Operate heavy equipment such as tankers, bulldozers, dump trucks, loaders, and backhoes in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Collaborate with team members to build and maintain construction sites, ensuring all tasks are completed according to project specifications.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment on-site.
Assist in the transportation of materials and equipment as needed.
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report significant problems to the maintenance team.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are stored properly.
Requirements
Proven experience operating heavy machinery, including but not limited to tankers, Caterpillar equipment, bulldozers, dump trucks, loaders, and backhoes.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Class A CDL required.
High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
10 hour shift
