Team environment
Entry level of proficiency in executing workmanship in areas of fabrication and assembly of metal materials forming the enclosures for low to high voltage applications, per drawing packages and instructions defined by the Engineering Department. Interpret and apply entry level manufacturing knowledge and principles while reading specifications to make determinations on enclosure assembly methods, sequencing, and advising various team members or departments of errors to technical drawings as a means of proactive quality measures.
Production and Processing: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Mechanical: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Tools include: tape measure, level, square and transit, welding machine, grander, sander, basic hand tools (hammers, clamps, etc.), fork lift, overhead crane, ironworker, cutting torch and bandsaw.
Verbal & Written Communication Skills and Computers and Electronics .
Technical Experience: Ability to read and process drawings and cut-sheet packages. Proficient in measuring, squaring and math skills. Ability to MIG or Flux-core weld.
Visualization : The ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged.
