Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Facility Safety Manager - SCI Benner Township in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Facility Safety Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and safety standards throughout SCI Benner Township. You will complete and submit a variety of reports and participate in annual inspections. You can expect to schedule and conduct fire drills in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. In this position, you will maintain all records, such as inspection results, fire evacuation drills, special instructions, mock disaster critiques, monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, and annual fire extinguisher schedules. Additionally, you will conduct and coordinate all employee and inmate training in essentials of safety, sanitation, fire prevention, and environmental training programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. This position is eligible for full benefits at age 60 or 65. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please Note: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $56,900.00 (before taxes). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of professional experience in an organized accident prevention, fire prevention, environmental safety, or security program, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
