Bellevue Community College International Student Support Manager in Bellevue, Washington

International Student Support Manager Job ID: 13955 Location: Bellevue College Full/Part Time: Full Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Position Summary The International Student Support Manager (ISSM) is the first-line supervisor performing a wide scope of complex duties and responsibilities in managing international support services. The position reports to the Assistant Director of International Student Advising and Support (ADISAS). The ISSM plays a vital role in the department's goal to increase international student enrollment, program completion, and overall student experiences from admissions to post-completion by providing culturally responsive services to international students. The ISSM provides a wide range of assistance to international students at a variety of stages in the student life-cycle. The four primary areas of responsibilities are: 1) managing the front desk operations, 2) supervising the student employees and projects, 3) coordinating the quarterly online placement testing and initial enrollment for new intensive English students, and 4) tracking the quarterly international student insurance program. The position serves as a Designated School Official (DSO) to process basic F-1 visa related requests. This position is situated at the IE front desk, works on-campus five days a week with occasional evenings and weekends. Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule Position Salary Range: $51,312/year - $69,036/year The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations. Individuals newly hired to Classified position are placed in a salary range based on the WPEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
