What does a Manufacturing Finance Manager do at Swire Coca-Cola? A strategic finance business partner for multiple manufacturing plants with annual production of 100M cases and spend of $250M - $300M. Responsible for providing financial leadership and analysis to optimize cost, profitability and drive overall business performance. The role requires analytical, communication, and leadership skills, as well as an understanding of managerial accounting in manufacturing processes and financial concepts. A member of the Manufacturing Finance and Plant Leadership teams responsible for providing strategic guidance to deliver 3-5% annual productivity. Reports to the Sr. Finance Manager, Supply Chain Finance with a dotted line to the Plant Manager. Responsibilities: Communicate financial concepts to non-financial leaders in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand and drives desired behaviors and decisions Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end analysis and provide comprehensive financial and statistical results to local and senior leadership Promote a visible and responsible financial culture on site involving all plant leadership and provide them with financial training and support Monitor and report on manufacturing budgets and variances and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures Analyze and forecast the manufacturing performance based on actual data outcomes and identify risks and opportunities Drive site-level forecasting process and identify risks and opportunities; proactively partner with plant leadership to develop strategies to deliver on business objectives Continuously reconcile differences between demand and product supply for budget and performance monitoring and provide guidance for course correction as necessary Ensure integrity of the manufacturing general ledger and present conclusions on P&L, manufacturing variances, labor analysis, and relevant capital expenditures to senior leadership monthly Develop annual site budget with local leadership team delivering annual operational synergies of 3-5% (Annual spend $250M -$300M) Implement and improve performance-based metrics and collaborate with plant leadership on site-wide continuous improvement Steward $50-75M capital budget for manufacturing plants including development of ROI and post-implementation analysis Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience required. 4+ of finance/accounting experience, preferably 2+ years in a manu
