T-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. The Product Manager, Technical is located in Bellevue, WA and will own E2E for products or features with moderate level of complexity. This includes creating, managing, maintaining, and communicating product vision and roadmap, technical vision, and capabilities.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects and drive end user product research.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer experience and identify opportunities.
  • Review data for product innovation and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Utilize testing methodologies and experiments, including paper prototype and A/B testing to inform decision-making.
  • Conducts cost-benefit, ROI, and NPV analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Work with stakeholders and follows enterprise process to secure and maintain product funding.
  • Develop and maintain understanding of best practices and industry trends and evaluate roadmaps for product innovation.
  • Communicate, influence, and promote IT product ideas to leadership.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and provide insights to management on request surrounding IT projects.
  • Recommend product feature set and technical improvements to optimize customer experience.
  • Work with third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.

Specific Skills Requirement - *must have professional experience in: *

 

  1. Owning E2E software product through logical thinking, as well as qualitative and quantitative analysis, and maintaining the ability to drive complex technical system design and architecture, which includes defining and maintaining product, capabilities, prototyping, and technology roadmaps.
  2. Designing and architecting systems through Agile process (Program Increment, Planning, System Demo, and I&A) and using JIRA, JIRA Align, Rally, AgileCraft, and Mingle.
  3. Conducting end user product research to define products through rapid hypothesis driven testing methodologies (paper prototype and A/B testing).
  4. Implementing production code and designing technical architecture in large-scale product environments using MS SQL, Spring, and Java.
  5. Using the following tools to drive product design and architecture development: MS SQL, Tableau, Java, Spring, Apigee, API, and Microservices.  
  6. Using webservice security protocols, including JWT, React, Angular, Kafka, Rabbitmq, Containerization (Kubernetes), Dynamodb, and Mongodb.

  • PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related, and 5 years of post-Bachelors, progressive work experience.
