Microsoft Ads is the economic engine driving monetization of search & consumer services across Microsoft and its strategic partners. Without advertising, retailers, manufacturers, and service providers would have no way to reach their potential consumers and the world as we know it would not exist. Within advertising, digital media now surpasses all other forms of advertising.
In our Publisher Platform team, we work with Microsoft Ads' syndication partners (publishers) to supply traffic to our ad network and lead efforts that impact multiple billions of dollars in revenue annually. We are looking for a program (product) manager to join our team to conceptualize and drive efforts that would provide the most competitive solution to our publishers and continually scale our supply traffic.
As a Product Manager, you are expected to
Own and articulate the roadmap for 3PS publisher solution.
Understand and articulate needs of publishers and advertisers; define the products, customer experience and serve as their advocate.
Deal with ambiguity and drive clarity across teams.
Collaborate across disciplines such as Sales, Support, Marketing, Business Development, Legal, and other engineering teams.
Drive GTM efforts with marketing and sales teams.
A successful candidate will have:
2+ years of experience working as a Program/Product Manager delivering user-facing products/services.
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Customer focus: with a deep desire to partner with and learn from partners to enable best in class customer solutions.
Learner mindset: curiosity to learn, and a desire to excel and grow both personally and professionally.
Collaborator:ability to work effectively with a large number of partners and customers.
Previous experience working on Internet and frontend products.
Prior knowledge of advertising industry and understands the dynamics between advertisers, agency, ad network, publishers, and users.
MS or MBA a plus.
