T-Mobile has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Corporate Counsel role to work in the Government Affairs Department in our Bellevue, Washington office. What you'll do in your role. Participate in state regulatory proceedings relevant to T-Mobile's interests, with a particular focus on matters before state Public Utilities Commissions Evaluate proposed regulatory, legislative and/or policy changes and develop materials to support advocacy efforts in various forums Build and develop relationships with state regulators and organizations to represent T-Mobile's interests and positions Advise business clients on the impact of proposed policy or regulatory changes on T-Mobile Collaborate with Government Affairs colleagues, Legal team members and internal teams on various telecommunications and/or industry issues Deliver easy-to-understand written and oral advice in a timely matter Other duties as assigned The experience you'll bring. Functional and Technical Skills Excellent research and analytical skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to be a team player and work in a fast-paced and innovative work environment Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience and Education A U.S. law degree and admission to at least one state bar required. 7+ years as a practicing attorney with relevant government, in-house or law firm experience Demonstrated prior experience with telecommunications law and policy, in particular FCC/State Public Utilities Commission experience preferred * At least 18 years of age * Legally authorized to work in the United States Base Pay Range: $123,200 - $222,200 Corporate Bonus Target: 15% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role.
