In this role, you will be working with the top-tier content & service providers to help develop incredible experiences that will wow customers using the Alexa voice service.
Your responsibilities will include creating and owning key business relationships and driving the ultimate success of partner projects. You will be the “face of Amazon” with key partners and drive discussions with senior technical leaders/CxO in those organizations. You will also be required to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges and map the intersection of partner needs and Amazon priorities.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer engagement and communication skills as well as the technical understanding to drive deals across all stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and engage top tier content and service providers and drive opportunities for compelling Alexa experiences.
Work with cross-functional teams to enable successful recruiting and onboarding of developers
Develop unique, compelling and exciting presentations and demonstrations of new Amazon technologies
Deliver persuasive, passionate, high impact, high quality presentations to senior decision makers
Advocate internally for developer features and functionality that will help facilitate a world class Alexa skills ecosystem
Create actionable steps to achievement of big, ambiguous ideas
A day in the life
You will be the single point of contact for Alexa's largest and most strategic partnerships. You will drive strategy and tactics across the partnership working across organizational altitudes and functions. As part of the role, you will lead business deal negotiation strategy & execution, while contributing to broader organizational business & product strategy.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
5+ years of professional or military experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
