What It's Like As a Strategic Portfolio Management Intern within IT at T-Mobile, you will gain firsthand experience in how IT delivers and contributes to T-Mobile's overall success. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to learn how Strategic Portfolio Management partners closely with leaders and cross-functional teams, ensuring visibility and accountability in initiative delivery. What You'll Do In this role, you'll learn how IT Initiatives are planned, analyzed, and delivered to meet strategic objects. You'll use Microsoft Excel to analyze data and generate reports, contribute to continuous improvement efforts, and create PowerPoint presentations to communicate your findings and recommendations. Key Responsibilities Initiative Delivery: Learn about planning, execution, and delivery of IT initiatives and how they align with T-Mobile's strategic objectives and business goals. Data Analysis: Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze initiative data, common trends, and generate reports to support decision-making processes. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement for IT portfolio, leveraging best practices and lessons learned to enhance initiative planning, delivery, and outcomes. Presentation Development: Create and deliver presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate data analysis, continuous improvements, and recommendations to Strategic Portfolio Management Leaders. What It Takes Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively. Positive attitude and willingness to navigate through a rapidly changing environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education. Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location. Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/
