Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an iron worker for a local manufacturing company in Bellingham! This company has been in the foodservice industry since 1990 and values relationships, trust, innovation, accountability and quality. This would be the right position for someone who has problem-solving skills, ability to read tape measurer, and team orientated. This would be a great entry-level position to get your foot in the door of a great company and gain some new skills and experience.
Pay: Earn $17.50/HR
*Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00 am-4:30 pm, schedule may vary. *
*Position Type: Temporary but would be long-term for the right fit. *

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:
-Interpret engineering drawings to determine appropriate processes
-Preparing machines according to specifications
-Using machines to cut, saw, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend or straighten metal
-Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy, looking for defects
-Maintaining and performing routine maintenance on machines
-Use PPE and safe practices as required, work safely with dangerous tooling
-Maintain clean and organized work area
-Accurate and timely entry of hours worked on jobs assigned
-Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
-Lifting up to 50lbs
-Other duties as assigned
-This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment Drug Test
