Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
Plant maintenance electricians/mechanics are responsible for the care and maintenance of all property and production assets. This position ensures the continued operation of machinery and equipment in an electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic capacity by completing planned and unplanned maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.
Responsibilities
Ensure the continued operation of machinery and equipment.
Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, and processing equipment.
Maintain utility systems in an electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic capacity.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Handle electrical wiring and conduit bending.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
Utilize Allen Bradley PLCs for troubleshooting fillers and conveyors.
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
Work with 240 and 480 volt industrial electrical systems.
Repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with photo eyes
Lubricating, cleaning, and material handling
Motor control, relay control, and process control
Packaging equipment maintenance
Welding skills
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66580.00 - $70117.00
