WABTEC IT Digital Operation Center (DOC) provides a 24/7/365 service, focusing at High priority issues, Networking Operations, Compute Operations, and Enterprise Tools Operations. The WABTEC DOC Leader is managing a Group of 12 highly trained and skilled employees in the Networking, Compute, and Enterprise Tools Areas. The Team is located at our WABTEC Bangalore ITC Facility and is using a unique Office Set Up, specially designed for an Operation Center. DOC monitors a large and continuously extended set of incidents and event, that are collected across the entire Wabtec network and compute operation, which includes 300+ facilities across 40+ countries, thousands of network equipment and servers. Much more than just consuming newly created incident, DOC is also involved in deeper analysis and troubleshoot of Routers, Switch, Network Connectivity issues, Compute Issues. DOC coordinates with our IT Tech-Service Department, but also our third parties involved in the maintenance of our infrastructures. Our challenges for 2022 includes the definition of an extended scope of work, coach, train, and empower DOC Team Members so that they continuously add more value and ensure the reliability of our operations. This scope’s extension will also cover unique project work, related to global technology deployment, security and compliance update and priority assessment. DOC Team is involved in multiple technologies that includes Service Now, SolarWinds, Aryaka WAN, Aruba Wi-Fi, Barracuda Backup, Veeam backup, HP routers and switches, AWS Servers and On-Premise Data Center.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage Business continuity through a proper organization of shift, night shift, travel and expenses, vacation, illness

• Define yearly objectives for each Team member and follow up NTEC – Non-Technical Data

• Drive and balance Workload across Team Members include BAU responsibilities and delivering new projects for Network, Platform, and Enterprise Tools team

• Work with IT Tech Services Department that DOC is working for, identify issues and feedback, agree on a remediation and drive remediation plans

• Build and Maintain Single Operating Procedures. Request Tech Services IT Department (network/Compute) to provide SOP that DOC are capable to run in their respective domain of expertise

• Identify undisclosed areas that needs to be documented. Engage other IT Department to scope it and define and organize the training and future DOC involvement.

• Guarantee a consistent P1 Assessment in line with Wabtec highest priority incident SOP

• Assess Team skills and capability to grow. Organize Team back up plan, cross functional training (Network / Compute / Enterprise Tools), and build a resilient service through a united Team.

• Reports to APAC Service Delivery Leader: KPI Trend, highlight specific events, understand the trend,

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Managing staff of 12 employees

• Drive with HR hiring recruitment for DOC backfill

• Define, Monitor, reviewing the work of staff members, including conducting Mid-Year, and Annual performance reviews

• Empower Team member: Identify how to extend the scope of work, training, roadmap for growth within Wabtec

• Organize 24/7/365 shift and related approvals: specific expenses, nightly shift fees, etc…

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities o 3 years Experienced management skills o 5 years Experienced in the Networking and Compute Operation fields o A past experience as an advanced Network Analyst, OR an advanced Compute analyst, is a plus o Excellent communication skills in English, ability to drive meeting with global Team (US, Europe, India, China, Australia) o Good understanding of global and Matrix Organization and related challenges o Business Value oriented mindset.
